Thanks for stopping by! We are so excited about what the Lord is doing with this ministry.

For many years we have had a burden for the nation of Japan. This burden started out as call to intercession for the Japanese people. Later on our burden grew to a vision, and that vision grew to a reality. That vision has grown into a ministry to reach out to the Japanese people with the love of Jesus Christ using Christian arts as the tool.

In July of 2006, Kara and I, along with a team from Christian Worship Center of Sacramento, California went on a two week mission’s trip to Tokyo, Yokohama, and Osaka. Little did we realize that this trip would serve as a catalyst for future ministry.

After many years of serving in our local church, Kara and I felt the leading of the Holy Spirit to start  a mission’s ministry to Japan. So after many months of wrestling and seeking the face of God, we stepped out in faith and started Lion Tribe Ministries in June of 2008.

Lion Tribe Ministries is an evangelistic outreach ministry focused on reaching Japan using Christian arts. By bringing teams of talented artists to Japan to minister with local churches and ministries, we are reaching out to the Japanese people with the Gospel.

We are also dedicated to the support and promotion of Missionaries serving abroad. In January 2011 we launched our Adopt-A-Missionary. The goal of this program is to connect the Body of Christ with missionaries that are serving abroad. We are providing information on the missionary and their families, and how they can be encouraged and supported. Please stop by the Adopt-A-Missionary page for more information.
